The Ozdinler Lab was able to generate a model system in which the brain motor neurons were genetically labeled to express a fluorescent protein. This allowed identification of brain motor neurons among many different brain cells. This image is a representation of many different brains that are labeled with fluorescence so that they can help enhance discoveries towards a cure.
